DESCRIPTION:Shop Farragut and the Town of Farragut will usher in the holiday season with the 9th Annual Countdown to Light the Park!  This family friendly event will set the holiday mood so be sure to come out and enjoy entertainment provided by the Farragut High School Madrigal Singers\, the Concord Brass Quintet\, soloists from Angela Floyd Schools- Farragut\, and the Akima Club Singers.  Mrs. Claus and the elves will be helping post letters to the North Pole! Enjoy freshly baked cookies provided by area businesses\, coffee and hot chocolate courtesy of First Watch Cafe.\n\n** approximately 6:30 "Throw the Switch" ~ Mayor Ron Williams\, Town of Farragut officials\, and a Very Special Guest will LIGHT the PARK on 50+trees\, garland pole wraps and other lighted decorations with over 60\,000 glistening bulbs throughout the park! **
