Event Description:
This year’s Gala, Party Like It’s 2073!, is on Friday, November 17 at 6 pm. It is the final event of our 50th anniversary year, so why 2073? Because that’s when the Children’s Museum turns 100. The Gala will feature a night of futuristic fun that you won’t want to miss!  
 
Our evening will include:
  • Emcee Frank Murphy of the Frank & Friends Show
  • Keynote speaker Dr. Amy Elliott of Oak Ridge National Laboratory
  • Presentation of the Selma Shapiro Friend of the Child Award to Tom Beehan & Kay Brookshire
  • Webb School of Knoxville & Clinton High School Robotics Teams
  • Music from the Robertsville Middle School Small Orchestra
  • Costume contest with prizes
  • Dinner from Birdwell Catering
  • Silent auction, and our amazing live auction with Bear Stephenson!
?Proceeds from the Gala support museum operations all year long. We hope to see you there!
